Kay Lee and I grew up in entrepreneurial households and felt the negative effects that the lack of work-life balance can have on the family. Both of our dads worked so hard and dedicated so much to the business that the family ended up taking a backseat.

It was almost as if the business was the “mistress.”

When I launched my first consulting business, I started to repeat the past and had many 2 am bedtimes. As a solopreneur, I was doing everything (Chief Everything Officer) which was costing me time with Kay Lee.

I rationalized that I was doing it for us, to create financial freedom…one day, and once I scaled the business to a certain point I can hire some help and dial it down.

But as I looked around at the business owners I was consulting, many of which had been in business for over twenty years, they were still “doing it all” even though they had a team.

I quickly realized that being a Chief Everything Officer VS a Chief Executive Officer had less to do with how much help you had but with the mindset and processes that you create.

So Kay Lee and I came up with a plan to do business better. We developed a process to build a business while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I started making different choices and stopped trying to do everything and please everyone.

You know what? The less busy work I did along with a greater focus on higher-priority items, the more progress I made.

And through the entire process from being a solopreneur to hiring a team, we’ve been able to grow the business while maintaining the freedom we desired from the very beginning.

Not only did we do this for ourselves but we passed along the process to our clients.

Like us, they became true C.E.O.’s of their business to lead more fulfilled lives.

The Investment

Ok, let’s get down to business. Of course, there is a cost but it is extremely reasonable for the community, connections, collaboration, and counsel that you will receive. Below are the cost and basic logistics for the mastermind.

The investment is $600 per month or $6,000 for the year
We meet virtually every two weeks starting in August (note: we take all of December off for the holidays)
Calls are 80 minutes
We do two live meetups per year (Closed events - where our members speak. Location TBA)
Direct access to me 1:1 via Slack/phone/text/zoom
The group is maxed at 12 people
