Key Takeaways:

  • Storytelling is key to communication in marketing

  • Important question you need to answer for yourself: Are you a goal setter, problem solver, or opportunist?

  • You’ve literally had a Hall of Fame career in broadcasting, what were some of the keys to being successful in this area?

  • When you started out in radio, did you ever envision the success that you have had?

  • The ability to communicate is crucial for radio since it’s audio only, what are some keys to great communication?

  • Having a successful career and business is good but it’s important to pay attention to what matters in life. Your late wife faced a long period of health issues, how were you able to prioritize taking care of her with the demands of your business?

  • Unfortunately we share a similar sad story. Both losing our wives. That’s bad enough but the way you lost yours, no one should have to go through. Tell us a little about that and the non-profit you started because of it.

  • I know after losing my first wife, it just solidifies the saying, “tomorrow’s not guaranteed.” And I definitely look at life and business differently. Has anything changed for you as you move forward in life, business, and relationship?
